Reading

Reading has become a very fun hobby for me.  I read at the expense of all other things.  Good thing hubby like to cook, do laundry, and occasionally vacuum.  I need to make some Christmas card and get going on the girls' scrapbooks.

It truly amazes me that the director wants to spend $270,000 on new ceiling tiles but 3 of us are losing our jobs. How can this be fair. I have never met the director but I think I don't like her very much. O and she wants as deputy director. Probably to cover the Fridays and Mondays she isn't here but in AZ. Let me tell you, the people that voted in this idiot governor will be the first to cry foul when no one is left to help them.

books books and more books. I donated 2 large tote bags to the library and have 2 more large tote bags to deliver. Hopefully they can use some of them in the library and not at the book sale. Had to make room for some new-used bedroom furniture in the spare bedroom.

at work - watching the capital bldg and a legislature is smoking on grounds in direct violation of the no smoking on state grounds. Guess when you make the rules, you can break the rules or simply say they don't apply to you.

job

more not so good news.  Boss keeps saying he thinks we won't lose our jobs that the legislature will restore our funding but the house passed their version and no funding but the senate version gave it back.  So - still no reassurances.  Glad all those republicans voted for the imbecile.  Just hope when they try to call for help to get a job or help with workers' compensation they remember who they voted for because we won't be here to answer their questions or help them.

pretty pumped to go tomorrow to Get Inspired 2011 at the fairgrounds.  First time going and it looks to be a good time to be had.  14 hours if we make it the whole time.

Happy St. Pat's Day

Having lunch with a l from my surgery long lost friend today.  hopefully she won't be lost anymore.  Getting my staples out from surgery last Friday.  Had well wishes from my little sis and Mom brought 2 mini roses for the garden this summer and 2 of my BFFs. I actually got a few hours of sleep last nite.  Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!
